The Role
As a Graduate Building Services Manager (M&E), you will play a key role in supporting the Building Services team to oversee the design, co-ordination, and installation of mechanical and electrical systems across a large-scale residential project. You’ll liaise with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to help ensure all services are delivered to the highest standards, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating MEP services throughout all stages of the refurbishment project.
Work closely with subcontractors, designers, and site teams to ensure building services are installed safely, accurately, and to a high standard.
Help review drawings, specifications, and technical submissions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Monitor progress on site, support quality checks, and help resolve day‑to‑day issues related to MEP services.
Contribute to site meetings, track actions, and support effective communication between project teams.
Assist with testing, commissioning, and handover documentation to ensure seamless project completion.
About You
To be considered for the role of Graduate Building Services Manager, you will need to be:
A recent graduate in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Interested in high‑end residential projects and motivated to learn how building services integrate into complex refurbishment work.
A strong communicator with the confidence to work with designers, subcontractors, and site teams.
Attentive to detail and have a willingness to problem‑solve in a practical, hands‑on environment.
Organised, proactive, and eager to develop technical and project management skills.
A positive attitude and a genuine desire to build a career within construction and building services management.
