The Role
As a Project Surveyor, you will support the commercial delivery of our construction projects while working under the guidance of a supportive and experienced commercial team. This role is ideal for a Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career, building confidence, autonomy and exposure to higher‑value projects.
Previous high‑end residential experience is not essential; however, a strong interest in quality‑focused construction and a desire to develop within a premium environment is key.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the commercial management of the project
Assist with cost control, forecasting and preparation of cost reports and CVRs
Manage subcontractor accounts, including valuations, payment notices and record‑keeping
Support procurement activities, including issuing enquiries, tender analysis and appointments
Assist with the management of variations, change events and commercial reporting
Work closely with site teams and senior surveyors to understand construction progress and cost drivers
Maintain accurate commercial records to support financial reporting and final accounts
Attend project meetings and develop effective working relationships with the supply chain
About You
You will ideally have:
2–3 years’ experience working in a Quantity Surveying role within construction
Experience working for a main contractor or subcontractor
A strong willingness to learn and develop within a supportive commercial team
Good numerical, organisational and analytical skills
Clear communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with site and office teams
A genuine interest in progressing into higher‑value and more complex projects
Competency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
A professional attitude, attention to detail and pride in quality delivery
